The group was formed in early 2002.
Two of us had already met through the St Margarets Elastic Band, and together with
two other local musicians, we went on to form the Primadonnas
. We cover a wide range of styles, moods and ensemble due to our
unique combination of instruments (violin, ‘cello, guitar, flute, piano,
vocals). We love performing and, as well as the timeless classics,
are constantly on the hunt for new and unusual pieces to add to our repertoire. Our recent performances include
weddings at Orlean’s
House Gallery (a most beautiful setting if you are considering tying
the knot), several summer garden parties, a host of 30th, 40th and 50th
birthday parties, as well as some fund raising events (Shooting Star Trust, United Nations).
